Our acrylic shadow box frames for canvas are designed to be wall mounted, offering a clean and contemporary presentation that complements gallery-style displays. Featuring a refined 50mm border, these frames create a strong visual margin around the artwork, enhancing depth and focus while maintaining a minimalist aesthetic. Suitable for both portrait and landscape orientations, they are ideal for a wide range of canvas applications.
Constructed from 4.5mm clear cast acrylic, the frames are chosen for their clarity, strength, and long-term durability. The acrylic is carefully fabricated to achieve clean edges and a premium finish, resulting in a refined and modern appearance with minimal visible joins.
Each frame includes a 10mm PVC foam board backing, providing excellent support and protection for the canvas. This rigid backing helps prevent movement, warping, and damage over time. For added security, each side of the frame features four fixing holes, allowing the foam board to be firmly secured and ensuring the artwork remains stable within the frame.
Box frames are available in a range of depths, typically between 30mm to 100mm, depending on the artwork and desired presentation. The 50mm border offers a balanced, gallery-style look that enhances the artwork without overpowering it.
Optional clear acrylic bases can also be incorporated to create a floating, frameless effect, further enhancing the clean and contemporary design.
