The Flowform Stool is a sculptural furniture piece defined by its fluid silhouette, smoky-caramel gradient and visible layered texture. The form transitions from a broad, stable base to a gently curved top, creating a distinctive accent for contemporary interiors, retail displays, galleries, hospitality spaces and events.
Produced in Brisbane using large-format 3D printing, Flowform is made from translucent PLA. Its amber-to-bronze colour shifts subtly under different lighting conditions, giving the stool depth and movement while allowing it to function as occasional seating, a side table or a standalone display object.

Material & Use
Designed for indoor use. Place on a stable, level surface and avoid excessive impact, concentrated loads, prolonged direct heat and harsh outdoor exposure.
Thoughtful Material Choices
Large-format 3D printing creates the stool without dedicated moulds or tooling and places material only where it is needed. PLA is commonly produced in part from renewable plant-based feedstocks. For selected custom projects, recycled PLA, plant-based PLA and other suitable material options may be available where performance requirements allow. Material, recycled content and colour availability vary by project.
Custom Projects
Custom colours, dimensions and branded variations may be available for commercial interiors, events and rollout projects. Contact Basic Plus to discuss application, lead time and material requirements.
Craftsmanship
Visible layer lines, tonal variation and subtle surface characteristics are natural results of large-format 3D printing. Gradient placement and translucency may vary slightly from piece to piece, contributing to the individual character of each stool rather than being considered manufacturing defects.
