The Deep Space Dining Chair is a sculptural seating piece designed by Studio LUNA and produced in Brisbane using large-format 3D printing. Its flowing, draped geometry creates a futuristic silhouette with a luminous, glass-like presence.
Made from transparent recyclable PETG, the chair reveals its layered construction and refracts light through the form, creating shifting depth and tonal variation from different angles. It works as both functional seating and a statement feature across contemporary interiors, galleries, retail environments, hospitality spaces and design-led installations.

Material & Use
Designed for indoor use. Place on a stable, level surface and avoid excessive impact, concentrated loads, prolonged extreme heat and harsh outdoor exposure.
Thoughtful Material Choices
Large-format additive manufacturing creates the chair without dedicated moulds or tooling and places material only where it is needed. PETG is recyclable through suitable facilities. For selected custom projects, recycled PETG and other suitable material options may be available where performance requirements allow. Material, recycled content and colour availability vary by project.
Custom Projects
Custom colours, dimensions and project-specific variations may be available for commercial interiors, exhibitions and branded installations. Contact Basic Plus to discuss application, lead time and material requirements.
Craftsmanship
Visible layer lines, tonal variation, minor marks, bubbles and subtle surface characteristics are natural results of large-format 3D printing and transparent PETG. These features contribute to the individual appearance of each chair and are not considered manufacturing defects.
