The Black Box Bench is a compact sculptural furniture piece defined by its soft cube form, rounded edges and continuous ribbed texture. Its bold black finish gives the piece a clean architectural presence, allowing it to function as a bench, stool, side table or display plinth across contemporary commercial and residential spaces.
Produced in Brisbane using large-format 3D printing, the bench is made from PETG reinforced with glass fibre for improved strength and durability. At approximately 6 kg, it remains easy to reposition for changing layouts, exhibitions, events and visual-merchandising displays.

Material & Use
Designed for indoor and outdoor use. Place on a stable, level surface and avoid excessive impact, concentrated loads and prolonged exposure to extreme heat.
Thoughtful Material Choices
Large-format 3D printing creates the bench without dedicated moulds or tooling and places material only where it is needed. For selected products and custom projects, recycled PETG and other suitable material options may be available where performance requirements allow. Material, recycled content and colour availability vary by product and project.
Custom Projects
Custom colours, dimensions and branded variations may be available for commercial interiors, events and rollout projects. Contact Basic Plus to discuss project-specific requirements.
Craftsmanship
Visible layer lines, minor surface marks and slight tonal variation are natural characteristics of large-format 3D printing. These details contribute to the individual appearance of each piece and are not considered manufacturing defects.
