The Babushka Sculptural Vase Collection explores form, scale and family through a series of softly rounded nesting-inspired silhouettes. Designed by Kowafatcompany Studio, the collection draws on the visual language of traditional Russian babushka dolls while giving it a contemporary decorative expression.
Produced on desktop FDM 3D printers in Brisbane using plant-based PLA, each piece celebrates the fine layered texture of the printing process. The different forms can be displayed individually or grouped together to create a coordinated arrangement for shelves, reception areas, retail displays and modern interiors.

Material & Use
Made from plant-based PLA for decorative indoor use. Vase forms are best suited to dried botanicals or styling objects. For fresh flowers, use a watertight internal vessel. The planter option should be used with an internal nursery pot or liner.
Thoughtful Material Choices
Desktop FDM 3D printing builds each form layer by layer and uses only the material required for the object, without dedicated moulds or tooling. Recycled PLA, recycled PETG and other material options may be available for selected products or custom projects where suitable. Material and colour availability varies.
Craftsmanship
Visible layer lines, minor surface marks and subtle tonal variation are natural characteristics of desktop FDM 3D printing. These details contribute to the individual appearance of each piece and are not considered manufacturing defects.
