The Babushka Vase is a poetic exploration of form, scale, and nesting proportions. Designed by Kowafatcompany studio in Russia, it draws inspiration from the iconic Russian babushka dolls — where one shape contains another, creating a dialogue between individuality and unity.
Each vase carries the studio’s signature minimalist aesthetic, celebrating the sculptural beauty of 3D-printed PLA material. Clean lines and subtle curves highlight the layered texture of the print, turning a functional vessel into a tactile, contemporary artwork.
Available in four distinct sizes, the Babushka Vase can stand alone as a statement piece or be grouped together as a family of forms:
